I definitely failed the blog challenge. Meh.
But on the bright side, I just had a really good sandwich. So there's that.
Kind of in a weird headspace I guess.

So Many Things
Ok ok. First things first. I am pretty sure I had both of these up on my facebook at some point, but I feel they need to be re-posted so everyone knows about them.
Infectonator World Dominator
Sushi Cat
Two of the best online games I have ever played. Very worth your time.
OK second things 2nd. I really really know what I am doing for halloween this year! YAY and its not Dexter, it's going to be a really ornate awesome mask, and a simple costume-thing as to not steal away from the awesome-ness of the mask. And I have so little time to do it but I laugh in the face of this trivial adversity! HA!
Third things third. OMG tell me you've seen this!!! I almost want to meet this guy, but then I thought, ...eh.
Fourth things go forth. (see what I did there? :D) OK IMMA GON BE HONEST, and for the most part, Mr. Landry's blog has got to be the most entertaining by far. We all gotta step it up 4 reelz. I'm like, "Dude the moon IS creepy! Lookit all that gross food n junk! Teleportation.... uh yeah!" (i actually did follow that one, but I had to read it a few times)
OK to conclude: here is a thing.

My Friend Joy...
...is the best. She just mailed me a totally awesome Mix CD of lots of really good music. Excited! It will be so good to paint to. I actually miss Joy a whole lot. She often knew exactly when I needed a hug, and even on days where we would have a fight, the very next day we would be awesome again. Plus she makes me laugh SO MUCH. Yeah, missing her.
So God willing I will have 400 dollars by November 1st. I already made 80 today! Should be no problem. :) Don't worry, be happy.
I will try to pray first thing in the morning tomorrow.

Busy Busy Dizzy
Today was one of those days at work where there are a lot of servers there, no customers come in, all the servers except me go home, then SO MANY customers come in. And I LOVE IT! I make so much money on these days, which I super need right now. I'm toying with the idea that God is taking care of me. I realize this sounds shallow and pedantic (sorry, Family Guy quote) but I am in some serious need of faith edification. It's like a thousand people I know are truthful and good pointing at a duck, saying "Look Jacob, its a DUCK." The duck waddles up to me and quacks twice, and my response is "Eh, I dunno..." That is to say, the fact that God provides for me should be extremely obvious, but I am too good at ingoring it. I think I am comfortable in my doubting.
Made some gazpacho for homegroup tonight. I hope there is enough food for everybody.
I'm supposed to be recording some hymns soon. I'll post 'em up here if I ever do. OK BYE

Things! And Stuff!
Here is a thing called Euler's Disk. It is cool so buy it for me please. Go to the long video and watch!
So my roommate Ian is starting up a record label, and he had me do the branding for it. Fun. Here is what I ended up with, and there may be some refining to do, but you get the idea.
So yeah. Doing some laundry now and then I will go make food for tomorrow's home group! (Which is always so great.)
Who Loves the Chocolate
Everyone loves the chocolate.
Bah-hahahaha. Such a good way to start the day. More postings later, I gotta take a shower!

How To Train Your Dragon
Finally got to see this movie! It was nerdy and cool and I want a dragon to train now please. :)
btw here's the song from the end of the movie that is so fun.
Jónsi - Sticks and Stone
I used to draw dragons ALL THE TIME. Maybe I'll do a sketch or two for old times sake. I did some more work on the mural in my room, so I'm already feeling pretty creative. woot.
So this is my third post, and I feel like Mr. Harvey doesn't have a blog yet. MEH. Grumble grumble. :) Just kidding, Justin.
Hey so here's a question for you! Who wants to gather Monopoly point things from McDonalds so we can get millions of dollars? Eh? No? We won't get all that fat. I mean come on, money solves all your problems. :D
Ok so all sarcasm aside, i feel like there is the potential for an epic Halloween party to be had by us, so let's be helpful and make it happen! I think Kelly is heading it up, so let's be supportive and stuff!! OK? OOOOOOOOK.
I love you guys! Even the ones who don't have it in them to make a blog on time when they issued the blogging challenge. -_- OK I am so letting this go now LOL

This Morning
I found out last night my dear Aunt Mary recently had a stroke! Yikes. She has improved, but cannot write at the moment, but that should change with physical therapy and time.
There is a sandwich on my nightstand I made on Friday. ew. I should throw that away.
Music time! I am currently listening to some music I got from my friend JOY! (I'm sure this is a group all the music people are very familiar with, but I didn't know about it.) They are the Cocteau Twins, and they are very good to do paintings to. Here is my favorite from them.

It is my first real day off since the wedding, and I am really excited about it! I think I might spend some time with Mrs. Lea Collins, but then again she might be busy. We'll see. I definitely need to pay a bill or two. Hmm. Ok now something else INTERESTING!
Word of the Day: roborant - A strengthening medicine; a tonic; a restorative. OR when a robot won't shut up. hee hee.
Also, if I ever get to own a dog, his name will be Sazerac. That is all.

Why This Exists
Hello friends and family! I officially re-enter the blogging world. Hoo-RAY.
Justin Harvey is a cool friend of mine, and he invited some peeps to do a 30 day blogging fest. Little does he know that I used to blog for YEARS mwahahaha. This'll be a cinch. :)
And while a simple blogging challenge is good enough of a reason to start blogging again, this has become a real moment of triumph for me, as I have figured out how to get back into my account and delete all of the awful painful things I used to write about in a time of depression. I am so happy about all of this.
The old blog was called Unending Facets, and while it was often clever, it reeked of self-pity, confusion, and doubt. Yuck. I am such a different person nowadays, with lots of people around me that I love and love me back. So this new blog is called Faces Not Facets, because I am not going to forget about where I came from, but it isn't going to cloud my vision either.
So on this site I'll have lots of fun updates, so check in frequently!! MMMK.
- JACOB!
p.s. - I used to be quite the creative writer, so please check out the links and you can read some of the short stories I used to work on (and should probably pick back up again)
